FireTEK Privacy Policy
This policy explains how FireTEK handles personal data in the FireTEK online manual (web app at myfiretek.com/manual) and the FTK Studio app.
1. Who we are
Operator: fireTEK SRL, Scolii Street 1B, Iasi, 700523, Romania, VAT / registration number RO 34281784.

2. Data we process
- Account data from sign-in (Google, Apple or e-mail): e-mail address, name, provider identifier.
- Registration details: country, phone number, current system, professional or hobby use.
- Manual usage: pages read, time spent, approximate country (from IP address), browser type.
- Help reports: the text you write, photos, system report files and, optionally, your contact details.
- "Ask about the manual" questions: sent to AI providers (Anthropic and Google Vertex AI) without personal identifiers; answers may be cached.
- Anonymised fire-analysis reports from the app: counts and patterns only, no names or places.
- App technical data: device identifiers used for pairing and the licence activation code.
- Audience page / project sharing: share codes and audio files you choose to share. Audio is not shared by default. Uploaded media may be stored with Cloudinary.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing access and the features you use, and security - performance of a contract / legitimate interest.
- Support and help reports - contract / legitimate interest.
- Improving the manual and our products, and safety analysis - legitimate interest.
- Optional items (for example optional contact details, optional sharing) - your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Retention
- Accounts: until you delete them.
- Usage logs: 12 months.
- Help reports: until resolved plus 24 months.
- Anonymised fire cases: indefinitely (they contain no personal data).
5. Processors and transfers
We use Google Firebase / Google Cloud (EU region europe-west1), Anthropic and Google Vertex AI (for the manual questions), and Cloudinary (for media you upload in the app). Where data leaves the EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising.
6. Cookies and local storage
Only strictly necessary: sign-in session, offline cache and your preferences. No marketing or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise them, write to office@myfiretek.com or message us on WhatsApp (+40 744 671 127). You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Romania this is ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
8. Children
Our services are not directed at people under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the version and date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced in the app or manual.
